This article will walk you through the process of downloading and setting up your Slack account as a Guest for a mobile device.
To begin, you will want to download the Slack app.
Once you have received an email invitation from Slack, you will want to click on the "Join Slack" option.
That will bring you to a screen where you will enter your First and Last name. Then select "Continue". It will then ask you to set up 2 Factor authentication using either a text message or an authentication app. I recommend using the text message. 
Once that has all been set up, you will open the Slack app on your phone and select "Get Started". Then select "Continue with Email". and enter the email address that the slack invite was sent to and select "Next".
It may then send you an email to verify your email address.
Once that has been completed, in the Slack app, select "Enter Sign-in Code". This will prompt you to enter a code sent to your phone or a code from your chosen authenticator app.
